Anyhow, most of mothers in the country did not ask their daughter to stop participation in the anti-coup strikes and activities because the mothers believe that the thing of what their daughter doing is right.

“I want him (the perpetrator) to go to the jail for long life of punishment and wish anyone will not get raped like me”

Throughout the Spring Revolution against the military coup, despite the risks, women have stood at the forefront of Myanmar’s protest movement. Some have been arrested, brutally harassed, and even killed. Their memory and stories must not be forgotten and must serve as lessons for the next generation.

Honest Information (HI), a women’s media platform is creating this record of women’s participation in the 2021 Spring Revolution, for the period of February 1 to March 31, 2021. Our hope is for this to become a memorial document for the women’s movement after the revolution is over.

Con Con’s mother Ma Chan said “She asked me to give her a stick before going to bed. So, I put the small stick beside her, and then she feels safe and falls asleep.” Not only Con Con but also her friends named “Bad guys” to the police and soldier. Kids turned into a new game to catch the police.

“လွန်ခဲ့တဲ့နှစ်က သူ့ရဲ့အမနှစ်ယောက်အနက်က တယောက်ဟာ ခင်ပွန်းဖြစ်သူကို အိမ်ထောင်ကွာရှင်းဖို့တောင်းဆိုခဲ့ပြီး မကြာခင်မှာ သေနတ်နဲ့ ပစ်သတ်ခံရတယ် လို့ ပြောပါတယ်။ အဲဒီအတွက် သူမရဲ့ခင်ပွန်းဖြစ်သူဟာ ၁၅ ရက် အထိန်းသိမ်းခံရပြီးတဲ့နောက် ပြန်လွတ်လာခဲ့ပါတယ်။”

“အရင်က ချမှတ်ခဲ့တဲ့ ကုလသမဂ္ဂရဲ့ ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်နဲ့ ကြေညာချက်တွေမှာ အမျိုးသမီး၊ ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးနဲ့ လုံခြုံရေးဆိုင်ရာ ကိစ္စရပ်တွေ ပါဝင်ခဲ့ပေမယ့် ဒါတွေက ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်အမှတ် ၁၃၂၅ လို ပီပြင်တဲ့ သြဇာ သက်ရောက်မှု မရှိခဲ့ကြပါဘူး။ ဒီဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်က ကုလသမဂ္ဂ အထွေထွေအတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ်၊ အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံတွေနဲ့ လက်နက်ကိုင် ပဋိပက္ခမှာ ပါဝင်တဲ့ အဖွဲ့အစည်းတွေကို တိတိကျကျ အရေးယူဆောင်ရွက်ဖို့ တောင်းဆို တိုက်တွန်းထားပါတယ်။”

အသက် ၃၉ နှစ်အရွယ်သာရှိသေးတဲ့ သူမဟာ Covid-19 တိုက်ဖျက်ရေးမှာ သိသိသာသာ အောင်မြင်မှုရအောင် အမှန်တကယ် လုပ်ဆောင်ပြနိုင်ခဲ့သူဖြစ်ပြီး လူဦးရေ ၅ သန်းခန့်ရှိတဲ့ နယူးဇီလန်နိုင်ငံဟာ သူမရဲ့ ကိုင်တွယ်ထိန်းချုပ်မှုအောက်မှာ ကူးစက်သူ ၁၁၅၃ ဦးသာရှိခဲ့ပြီး ၂၂ ဦးသာ သေဆုံးခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

“ Covid 19 ကြောင့်ဖြစ်တဲ့ စီးပွားရေးရိုက်ခတ်မှုက အမျိုးသမီးတွေကို ပိုပြီးထိခိုက်စေတယ်။ အထူးသဖြင့် ဘာအာမခံချက်မှမရှိတဲ့ အလုပ်ခွင်မှာ အလုပ်လုပ်နေကြတဲ့ အမျိုးသမီးတွေမှာ ပိုထိခိုက်တယ်”

နိုင်ငံတကာအမျိုးသမီးများနေ့ဟာ လက်ရှိဖြစ်ပေါ်နေတဲ့ မညီမျှမှုတွေကို ဆန့်ကျင်ကန့်ကွက်ဆန္ဒပြပွဲတွေ ကျင်း ပပြီး လူအများသတိပြုမိလာအောင် ဆောင်ရွက်တဲ့ နိုင်ငံရေးအခြေခံနေ့တစ်နေ့ဖြစ်သလို လူ့ဘောင်အဖွဲ့အ စည်းတွေရဲ့ နိုင်ငံရေးနဲ့ စီးပွားရေးနယ်ပယ်တို့မှာ အမျိုးသမီးတွေ ဘယ်လောက်ထိ ရုန်းကန်လှုပ်ရှားခဲ့ရတယ် ဆိုတာကို ဖော်ပြအောင်ပွဲခံတဲ့ နေ့ရက်တစ်ရက်လည်း ဖြစ်လာခဲ့ပါတယ်။
